Robert D. "Bob" Hatch

Robert D. “Bob” Hatch, 66, of Veedersburg, died 6:20 pm Wednesday March 9, 2011 at his residence concluding a battle with cancer. He was born December 13, 1944 in Danville, Illinois the son of Freeman and Eleanor (McMasters) Hatch. They have preceded him in death. Bob is survived by two daughters, Grace Hatch, Hillsboro, IN; and Mary Hatch, Crawfordsville, IN; a brother, Harold (Carla) Hatch, Veedersburg; one granddaughter Stacey Weed, Chicago, IL; and many friends. He was employed at Hyster in Danville from June 1967 until his retirement in June 2001. He was a longtime member of the National Hot Rod Association. His hobbies were associated with vintage cars. He restored many cars and enjoyed taking these cars to numerous car shows throughout Indiana and neighboring states. There will be no services per Bob’s request.
