Arlie Edwards Jr.

Arlie Edwards Jr., 67, of Veedersburg, died 3:00 am Saturday May 21, 2011 at Provena USMC in Danville, IL. He was born July 10, 1943 in Laddie, Ohio the son Of Arlie and Ellie May (Howard) Edwards Sr. He married Nora Joyce Fannin in 1962 at West Point Virginia. Surviving family include his wife Nora Joyce Edwards, Veedersburg; a son Charles R. (Kimberly D.) Edwards, Williamsport; a brother, George Edwards, N.C.; a sister Marie Bowlens, Williamsport; two grandchildren, Daniel Ray Aguire & Lydia Kalien Aguire. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Tim Fannin and Ish Edwards. Arlie had worked as a young man in the coal mines and moved to Indiana in 1965 and was employed by Bebee & Sons Sawmill until 1982. Funeral service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday May 24, 2011 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service.
