Janice Elaine Ferrier

Janice Elaine Ferrier, 72, of Veedersburg, died Sunday October 16, 2011 at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana She was born May 23, 1939 in Veedersburg IN the daughter of Steven E. and Lotha Marguerite (Spivey) Abernathy. They have preceded her in death. Surviving family include four sons, William Dean Pritchard, Westville IL; Leonard Eugene (Donna) Pritchard, Lafayette IN; Raymond E. Pritchard, Veedersburg; James Wayne Pritchard, Veedersburg; a brother, Samuel (Nancy) Abernathy, Veedersburg; three sisters, Shirley (Lloyd) Curry, Georgetown IL; Gretchen Hutchinson, Crossville, TN; Carol (Lloyd) Jackson, Crossville, TN; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Janice graduated from Rabb High School. She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Veedersburg. She enjoyed visiting with her many friends, being at home and taking her of her houseplants. Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Friday October 21, 2011 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating.
