Lance D. Yoder

Lance D. Yoder, 58, of Veedersburg, died 9:40 pm Tuesday May 22, 2012 at St Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. Lance was born January 31, 1954 in Peru, IN the son of Larry D. and Ruth K. (Winters) Yoder. He first married Kathy Lane; they were blessed with two sons, Andrew and Adam Yoder. Lance’s second marriage was to Jodi LaFoe August 27, 1993 in Veedersburg, IN. Surviving family include his parents, Larry & Ruth Yoder, Peru, IN; wife Jodi Yoder, Veedersburg; sons, Andrew Yoder and Adam Yoder, both of Danville, IL; son, Adam (Kim) Keeling, Veedersburg; daughter, April Keeling, Veedersburg; a brother Denny (Cindy) Yoder, Peru; a sister, Kathy (Jack) Clark, Peru. Lance graduated from Peru High School in 1972. He was a retired railroad engineer, having been employed 23 years for Norfolk Southern Railroad. His greatest enjoyment in life came from being with his family and friends. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM (EDT) Saturday May 26, 2012 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Dave Sims officiating. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm (EDT) Friday May 25, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mt Hope Cemetery in Covington, IN.
