Joycelyn W. (Walton) Poston

Joycelyn W. (Walton) Poston, age 85 of Veedersburg, IN died at 4:01 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at IU Health in Lafayette, IN. Joycelyn was born on March 12, 1927 in Stone Bluff, IN. She was the daughter of Allie and Favor Isabel (Campbell) Walton. She graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1945 and had been a Veedersburg resident most of her life. On March 28, 1958 she married Harley Poston. He preceded her in death in 1989. Surviving are, 3 daughters, Shelley (Tom) Triol of Indianapolis, IN, Sharri Poston of Veedersburg, and Stephanie (Mike) Rainey of Williamsport, IN; 1 son, Scott R. Poston of Plainfield, IN; 6 grandchildren, Scott Michael Rainey, Adam Russell Rainey, Kristen Lynn Rainey, Derek Russell Poston, Lauren Marie Poston, and Jared Scott Poston; and 1 great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Rainey. Joycelyn was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister. Private family services will be held with burial at Centennial Cemetery.
