Lloyd L. Robbins

Lloyd L. Robbins, 84, of Covington, passed away 2:19 a.m. Saturday March 2, 2013 at his residence in Covington. Lloyd was born August 24, 1928 in Veedersburg the son of Gilbert L. and Audrey Louise (Mears) Robbins. He married Shirley Wilson June 18, 1955. Surviving family include his wife Shirley Robbins, Covington; two sons, Leslie E. (Lisa) Robbins, Covington; Lloyd R (Dina) Robbins, Veedersburg; three daughters, Cindy (Jim) Bushue, Covington; Sheri (Mike) Hinchman, Danville, IL; Jewel (Ron) Lockhart, Attica; and several grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sons, Gilbert Robbins and John Robbins. Lloyd had served his country in the U.S. Army. He had lived and worked in California, and retired from the Fountain Foundry in Veedersburg. Per Lloyds request, private family services will be held at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post #288.
