Carolyn G. Flint, 77, of Kingman, passed away 9:00 am Tuesday April 16, 2013 at St Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mrs Flint was born June 24, 1935 in Kingman, IN the daughter of Veron C. and Pauline M. Allen. She married Warren G. Flint November 2, 1958 at Centennial Church near Kingman.
She is preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Surviving family include a son, Joseph E. (wife, Aurora Ramierez) Flint, San Antonio, TX; a daughter Charlotte Flint, Kingman, IN; a brother James B. (wife, Joann) Allen, Colorado; a granddaughter, Lesslie L. Munoz; a nephew David Ison (wife, Stephanie) Allen, Austin, TX.
Carolyn graduated from Kingman High School in 1953, and St Elizabeth Nursing College in 1958 at Danville, IL, she had also attended the Incarnate Word University, and San Antonio College Nursing Programs. Throughout her life she had been employed as a Registered Nurse at the St Elizabeth, Lakeview, and V.A. Hospitals all in Danville, IL; and also at the Texas State Hospital.
She had lived various places during her life and had always been a faithful member of God’s church, in Danville, IL, Arizona, Texas, and Indiana. She was a life-time member of Fountain County Historical Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, and loved to collect and research genealogy.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday April 19, 2013 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Dan Matthews officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon on Friday and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow service at Centennial Cemetery near Kingman, IN.
