Marietta S Pyle

Marietta S. Pyle, 78, formerly of Veedersburg, passed away 4:54 am Tuesday March 11, 2014 at The Waters of Covington. She was born July 20, 1935 in Veedersburg the daughter of Thomas Gordon and Mildred Katherine (Robbins) Smith. She had been married to Jack D. Keller and Dale Pyle, they have both preceded her in death. Marietta graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1953. Earlier in her life she had been employed at RR Donnelly, and had owned and operated the Mustang Room in Veedersburg. She loved music and dancing; and enjoyed the years she had been able to live in Florida. Surviving family include three sisters, Betty LaBaw, Veedersburg; Virginia Miller, Veedersburg; Denise (Butch) Jackson, Florida; and a good friend Benny Holland in Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kevin Keller; two sisters, Fauneil McLean and Katha Hoefle. Per Marietta’s wishes she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 22, 2014 at Sterling Christian Church Aide House in Veedersburg. Arrangements entrusted to Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg.
