Lucretia Joan Shoaf

Lucretia Joan Shoaf, 87, formerly of Veedersburg IN, passed away 6:10 pm Saturday June 21, 2014 at Westside Garden Plaza Assisted Living in Indianapolis IN. Mrs. Shoaf was born August 27, 1926 in Veedersburg IN the daughter of Tyler Verrill and Helen (Merrill) Verrill Marshall. She married Robert G. Shoaf April 3, 1940, he preceded her in death in 2006. She is also preceded in death by a brother Robert Verrill. Surviving family include a son, Randy Shoaf, Columbus GA; and a daughter Kay Shoaf, Indianapolis IN. Lucretia graduated from Veedersburg High School and attended Danville Business College. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Attica Grain Co from 1965 until retirement in 1991. Robert and Lucretia operated this business for 32 years. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday June 25, 2014 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg IN.
