Kermit Alan Gulley, 83, of Veedersburg, passed away 9:59pm Tuesday August 26, 2014 at the VA Illiana Health Care in Danville, IL.
Mr. Gulley was born April 6, 1931 in Danville IL the son of Edward and Dessa (Nead) Gulley.
Surviving family include a brother, Ralph Gulley, Veedersburg; special friends, Patty Jo, Scott, Justin & Ryan Keller, Veedersburg, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Harold Gulley, Austin Gulley, Robert Gulley, and one sister, Virginia Carey.
Kermit had served his country in the US Army 1955 – 1957. He had farmed south of Hillsboro Indiana until his retirement, and had also helped at the Senior Center in Williamsport, IN. He was a member most recently of the Veedersburg Church of the Nazarene.
Kermit’s family & friends would like thank all those at the VA Illiana Health Care (Palliative Care Ward) for the wonderful care and treatment they had given Kermit during his stay.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Friday August 29, 2014 at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg with Pastor Tom Hunter officiating; with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #288 of Veedersburg.
