Joshua Allen Cooper

Joshua Allen Cooper, 32, of Covington, passed away Sunday October 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1982 in Danville IL the son of Russell Allen and Rhonda Sue (Riley) Cooper. He married Jennifer K. Schumacher June 2, 2012. Surviving family include his wife Jennifer K. Cooper ; his parents, Russell & Rhonda Cooper, Veedersburg; two sons, Jacob Allen Cooper & Jeremiah Allen Cooper; a step-son Isaiah Arenas; two sisters, Erica Sue (Jeremy) Deboy, Crawfordsville; Ashley (Scott) Roach, Crawfordsville; a grandfather, Joseph Robert Riley, Veedersburg; a grandmother, Carolyn Sue Cooper, Veedersburg; and two nephews, Tobin Deboy and Laykin Roach. He is preceded in death by a grandfather Russell Allen Cooper Sr. and a grandmother, Shirley Riley. Joshua graduated from Fountain Central High School in 2000. After graduation he joined the US Army 101st Airborne Division and spent the year of 2003 stationed in Iraq. Joshua enjoyed music, going to concerts, and electronics. Most of all he loved and enjoyed his boys. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday October 11, 2014 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Matt Swisher officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Friday October 10, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow service at Rockfield Cemetery with Military Honors.
