Patricia E Wellheuser Boord

Patricia E. Wellheuser Boord, 97, of Veedersburg, died 10:00 AM Friday October 17, 2014 at Williamsport Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Boord was born March 19, 1917 near Stone Bluff, IN the daughter of Matthew and Connie (Babb) Wellheuser. She married Robert C. Boord July 17, 1954, and he preceded her in death June 23, 1996. She is also preceded in death by a twin sister Elinor A. Abolt, a brother Robert L. Wellheuser, and a niece Beverly Rennison. Surviving family include a brother, John “Jack” Wellheuser, Texas; three nephews, John Rennison, Matthew (Patricia) Wellheuser, Mark (Carol Ann) Wellheuser; two nieces, Deanna (Doug) Johns, Jacqueline Wellheuser; three great-nieces, Amy J (Bryan) Delp, Amanda Boone, Breanna Wellheuser, three great-nephews Charles Krummreich, James Krummreich, Philip Wellheuser; three step-great-nephews Michael Johns, Thomas Johns, William Johns; two great-great-nephews, Christopher Delp and Henry Delp. Patricia graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1935, and was employed over the years at RR Donnelley, Farm Bureau Co-op, and for Dr Crane at The National Columnist in Mellott IN. She was a member of the Stone Bluff United Methodist Church, Stone Bluff Ladies Aid, O.E.S. Valletta Chapter #207 in Veedersburg, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, D.A.R., and the Women of the Moose. Pat and her husband Bob also enjoyed ballroom dancing for many years. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday October 24, 2014 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg, with Pastor Daneen Rodriguez and Pastor Stanley Hicks officiating. Visitation will begin 1:00 pm Friday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow service at Osborn Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff.
