Helen Eileen Grady

Helen Eileen Grady, 91, formerly of Bethesda Maryland, passed away 12:55 pm Sunday February 8, 2015 at St Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mrs. Grady was born January 13, 1924 in Veedersburg, Indiana the daughter of Myron Greenley and Eddis Maude (Rice) Dice. She married her husband of nearly 70 years, Robert E. Grady July 20, 1945 in Memphis TN. She is preceded in death by a brother Lloyd Dice. Helen graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1941 and attended Butler University for two years. She had been employed as a secretary at several different businesses over the years, and had been a long time volunteer with the American Red Cross. She was a member of the Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church in Bethesda Maryland, and a member of Tri Delta Sorority. Helen and Robert had lived in Bethesda Maryland for many years and had just recently moved back to Indiana. Surviving family include her husband Robert E. Grady, Mooresville IN; two nephews, Duane (Diana) Dice, Atlanta GA; Don (Karen) Dice, Indianapolis IN; two great-nieces, and several cousins. Funeral service will be 1:00 pm Saturday February 14, 2015 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Joe Dodds officiating.
