Dale R. "Poss" Linker

Dale R. “Poss” Linker, 76, of Rosedale, passed away 12:03 AM Friday February 27, 2015 at Union Hospital in Clinton, Indiana. Poss was born July 3, 1938 in Veedersburg, IN the son of Paul and Marie (Trinkle) Linker. He married Connie J. Sewell December 29, 1961 at the Holy Cross Church in Crawfordsville IN. Surviving family include his wife, Connie J Linker, Rosedale; a daughter Deborah Jo (Sean) Gray, Rockville; two sons, Mark Allen (Barbara Ann) Linker, Rosedale; David Matthew Linker, Rosedale; a brother, Jack D. (Glenda) Linker, Veedersburg; and two grandsons, Devon Tyler Gray and Eli Alexander Gray. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary Linker and Don Linker. Poss graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1956 and served his country in the US Navy. He had been employed as a press operator both at RR Donnelly in Crawfordsville and Ivy Hill in Terre Haute. He enjoyed handcrafting leather products and scrimshaw engraving on knives. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mushrooming. He attended the Christus Victor Lutheran Church in Terre Haute.
