Jay T Kell

Jay T. Kell, 73, of Tilton IL, passed away Thursday March 19, 2015 at Gardenview Manor in Danville Illinois. He was born June 4, 1941 in Danville IL the son of Clarence & Vivian (Dobbs) Kell. Surviving family include two sons, Charles (Yolanda) Kell, Mulberry, FL; Kenneth Kell,Fulton Co, FL; a brother, Brent Kell, Danville IL; a sister, Janet Page, CA; five grandchildren, Jessie Kell, Hanna Kell, Dylan Kell, Faith Kell, Bethany Grace Amircone; and a great granddaughter, Emily Yvette Kell. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Kell, mother Vivian Duvall, and two granddaughters, Crystal Kell & Heather Kell. Jay graduated from Veedersburg High School and served his country in both the US Army and the US Air Force. He had owned and operated gas stations in both Danville and Westville over the years. Jay enjoyed playing the bass guitar, fishing, and riding his motorcycle; all of which he did in the company of his many friends, that he loved and enjoyed very much. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm (EDT) Monday March 23, 2015 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg, IN. with Pastor James Furr officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon (EDT) Monday and continue until the time of the service.
