Jerry O. Kelley

Jerry O. Kelley, 75, of Stone Bluff IN, passed away 11:11 pm Sunday March 22, 2015 at St Vincent Hospital in Williamsport IN. Jerry was born April 30, 1939 in Stone Bluff the son of Leland C. and Mildred I. (Hoagland) Kelley. He married Susan Kay Zick October 10, 1964 in Stone Bluff. Surviving family include his wife Kay Kelley, Stone Bluff; a son Tim (Susan) Kelley, Veedersburg; a brother, Dick Kelley, Stone Bluff; two grandchildren, Alisha (Cody) Arnold; Cody Kelley (Macy Toon); three step-grandchildren, Shane Loveall, Trevor Loveall, Kate Loveall; two great grandsons, Owen Endicott and Elijah Endicott. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Kelley, Kenneth Kelley; and a twin sister, Janice Murphy. Jerry graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1957, and served his country in the US Army during the Cuban Crisis. He was employed for many years as a supervisor at RMC in Attica, retiring in 2000. For most of his life Jerry had enjoyed coon hunting, and making custom built violins from the basic raw materials. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday March 28, 2015 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Dean Hancock officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Saturday and continue until the time of the service. Burial will follow service at Osborn Prairie Cemetery near Stone Bluff with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post #288. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor’s choice.
