Dorothy I. (Rodgers) Craig

Dorothy I. (Rodgers) Craig, age 90 of Crawfordsville, IN died on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at her residence. Dorothy was born on April 7, 1925 in Wingate, IN. She was the daughter of Harry and Nancy Faye (Long) Rodgers. She married Samuel Larkin Craig, Jr. and he preceded her in death on November 13, 2004. Dorothy loved to knit, crochet, quilt, cross-stitch and was an excellent seamstress. She was a homemaker and was a huge IU and Cubs fan. She was also a NASCAR fan and Jeff Gordon was her favorite driver. She was a past member of the Veedersburg American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are, 3 children, Larry Craig (Carol) of Danville, IL, Richard Craig (Roberta) of Lagrange, IN, and Roger Craig (Dellie) of Crawfordsville, IN; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, 1 sister, and a grandson, Mark Craig. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Rockfield Cemetery, Veedersburg, IN.
