Cathy J Sanders

Cathy Jo (Walton) Sanders, 58, died January 26, 2009 at her residence in Veedersburg, IN. She was born January 31, 1950 in Champaign, Illinois the daughter of William J. Sherman and Catherine Dismore. Cathy was married May 24, 2002 in West Liberty, KY to Joe E. Sanders. He survives. Survivors also include her father William J. Sherman, Cayuga; mother Catherine Dismore (husband Carl), Veedersburg; one son Doug Walton (wife Lana) Veedersburg; two step-sons, Larry Sanders (companion Lori) Kingman; Rodney Sanders, Crawfordsville; one step-daughter Melissa Huls (husband James) New Ross; three half - sisters Carla Newnum (husband Dave) Kingman and Jamie Lancaster (husband Todd), Cayuga; and Lisa Lancaster (husband Mike) Danville, IL; half – brother Paul Sherman, Clinton, WI; three step-grandchildren Whitney Sanders, Sabrina Huls, and Audrey Huls. Cathy was a 1968 graduate of Fountain Central High School. She enjoyed visiting and spending time with her family and friends, working crossword puzzles, and her special dog “Scooter”. She was excited and looking forward to the birth of her grandchild this coming July. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday January 31, 2009 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev.
