Fredrick "Ted" Merrill

Fredrick “Ted” Merrill, 82, of Lafayette, former Veedersburg resident died 10:15 pm Thursday February 26, 2009 at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. Mr. Merrill was born January 7, 1927 in Veedersburg the son of Harry and Lena Belle (Dawson) Merrill. He had been employed for many years at the Veedersburg Brickyard and Fountain Foundry. Surviving family includes three sons, Terry (Sylvia) Merrill, Veedersburg; Fredrick Merrill Jr. Veedersburg; Arthur (Kelly) Merrill, Lafayette; one daughter LuAnn Merrill Ray, Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and one son Timothy Lee Merrill. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Monday March 2, 2009 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor James Furr officiating.
