Robert "Bobby" S Gordon

Robert S. “Bobby” Gordon, 74, of Delphi, passed away at 8:05 pm Tuesday October 13, 2015 at his daughter’s residence in Veedersburg IN. Bobby was born November 22, 1940 in Lafayette the son of Joseph H. and Lucille V. (Neff) Gordon. He married Marsha Bower and she has preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents and several brothers & sisters. Surviving family include two daughters, Debbie (Claude) Coyner, Lafayette; Julie (Eric) Keeling, Veedersburg; a son, Greg (Debbie) Gordon, Rossville; a sister, Thelma Bishop, Fort Wayne; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bobby was a 49 year member of the Laborer’s International Union Local # 274. He loved living & fishing on the Tippecanoe River. Bobby was an avid Hot Rodder and enjoyed his 1935 Ford pickup rat rod. He also enjoyed attending many of the area car shows, and watching Nascar with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Saturday October 17, 2015 at Dickerson Funeral Home 303 N Main Veedersburg IN. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Friday October 16, 2015 at the funeral home.
