John Allen Perry

John Allen Perry, 62, of Veedersburg, passed away at his residence Monday February 8, 2016. Allen was born December 4, 1953 in Olney, Illinois the son of Ivan and Ersie May (Gaines) Perry. Surviving family include two sisters, Bev Saunders, Veedersburg; Susie (Gary) Cox, Veedersburg; four brothers, Bill (Bonnie) Perry, Veedersburg; David (Andrea) Perry, Homer IL; Jim (Teresa) Perry, Champaign IL; Dan Perry, Champaign IL; two sons, John Perry; brother-in-law, John Keller; one granddaughter, and two grandsons. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Theda “Tootie” Keller; two brothers, Charles Eugene “Gene” Perry & Dewaine Perry, a sister, Rose Marie Perry, and a sister-in-law, Diane Perry. Allen had been employed for moving companies when he had been able to work. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, mowing yards, and riding his scooter around town.
