Michael Ray Drollinger, 56, of rural Veedersburg, passed away Sunday February 14, 2016.
Michael was born November 14, 1959 in Danville, IL the son of Norman Ray Drollinger and Sharon E. (Newnum) Huxford. He was married to Lisa G. Burleson and they were blessed with three children.
Surviving family include his mother, Sharon E. Huxford, Covington; daughters, Amanda (William) Stewart, Veedersburg; Nicole (Beau) Tague, Lafayette; Kaitlin Shoaf, Danville IL; a son Michael (Heather) Drollinger, Tangier; a brother, Steve (Jill) Drollinger, Wallace; two sisters, Joni (Jeff) Shelton, Greencastle; Marka (Ed) Woolwine, Yeddo; and eight grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father; step-father, Bob Huxford; and brother, Todd Drollinger.
Michael graduated from Covington High School. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and playing his harmonica with Eric Barr and the Jammers. More than anything he loved and enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and dog “Boomer”.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday February 18, 2016 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Joe Humrichous officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm Thursday and continue until the time of service. Interment will follow service at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.
