Amanda Ruth Keeling, 43, of Kingman, passed away at her residence, 9:45 am Monday February 22, 2016.
She was born April 9, 1972 in Danville IL the daughter of Max G. and Bonnie L. (Krout) Bond. Her mother preceded her in death May 10, 1976. She married B.J. Keeling May 20, 1995 in Terre Haute IN.
Surviving family include her father, Max (Velma) Bond, Kingman; husband, B.J. Keeling, Kingman; daughter, Rebekah R. Keeling and son, Jacob D. Keeling, both of Kingman; brother, Matthew W. (Gwen) Bond, Columbus IN; step-sister, Regina Shamp, Indianapolis; and special friends, Larry (Judy) Tedrow of Florida.
Amanda graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1990. She graduated from ISU in 1995 where she was active in Christian Campus Ministry with the singing SCAMPS. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church, where she was active in the church choir and had helped as secretary in the church office. Amanda was also serving as a board member in GoSponsor. She enjoyed boating at Raccoon Lake, reading, and scrapbooking. Most of all, her pride and joy was her two children, Rebekah & Jacob.
Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday February 27, 2016 at Sterling Christian Church 701 South Sterling Avenue in Veedersburg with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 pm Friday February 26, 2016 at the church. Burial will follow service at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.
