Glenda E Linker

Glenda E. Linker, 78, of Veedersburg, passed away 5:54 AM Monday February 22, 2016 at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. Glenda was born April 14, 1937 in Purgitsville, WV the daughter of Delford O. and Mary (Wilkins) Miller. She married Jack D. Linker May 19, 1962 in Veedersburg IN. Surviving family include her husband, Jack D. Linker, Veedersburg; three sons, Brad (Miesha) Linker, Waynetown IN; Brian Linker, Kingman IN; Dan (Rujeanette) Linker, Sacramento CA; three brothers, Roy “Butch” F. Smith, Samuel Smith, Dale Miller; three sisters, Vera Jackson, Thetis Hoch, Jeanette Sowell; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Connie Bowman and Cora “Powder” Tally. Glenda graduated from Moorefield WV High School and served her country in the US Navy. She had been employed at the Danville IL VA Hospital prior to her retirement. She enjoyed oil painting, sketching and fishing with her husband Jack at Charlarose Lake. Private family services will be held at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg.
