Mertie M. Myers

Mertie M. Myers, 60, of Yeddo passed away 11:55 PM Sunday June 7, 2009 at St Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Mertie was born May 26, 1949 in Goshen, Indiana and raised by the loving parents of James A. and Marie B. Iffert. She was married October 7, 1969 in Attica, Indiana to Harry Myers She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Robert Rice. Surviving is her husband Harry Myers, Yeddo; three daughters, Shannon Woolwine, Hillsboro; Sheila Robertson (Craig Lawrence), Lafayette; Sabrina (Josh) McMasters, Kingman; son, Matthew (Vicki) Myers, Hillsboro; brother Chester Rice; sister, Betty Rice; six grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was a long time employee of Walmart Optical Lab in Crawfordsville. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed several different hobbies and spending time with her cat “Blackberry”. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will always be in our hearts. Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday June 10, 2009 at Dickerson Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Ray Dodds officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday and continue until time of the service. Interment at Centennial Cemetery. Family request memorial contributions be made to Walmart’s “Children Miracle Network”
