Frederick Earl Schwenn, 74, of Veedersburg, died 3:30AM Wednesday July 1, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport, IN. He was born October 26, 1934 in Peoria, IL the son of Frederick O. and Helen M. (Howey) Schwenn. He married Harriet Lee Parkinson September 9, 1982 in Birmingham, Alabama. She survives. Survivors also include two daughters, Catherine Nowak (husband William), Crown Point, IN; and Alice Moore (husband Robert), Chandler AZ; two step-sons Phil Hanes, Chicago, IL; and Adam Hanes (wife Valarie) Grant Park, IL; step-daughter Dawn Ray, Steger, IL; three sisters, Dixianna Monteabaro, Pompano Beach, FL; Mariann Blanchart, Newburgh, IN; and Rita Burgdorf, Mt. Vernon, IN; four grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two daughters and a sister. Frederick served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War after graduating high school. He later was employed as an Auto Mechanic & Technician for auto dealerships. He was a member of A.F. & A.M. Lodge #763 in Crete, IL, past Worthy Patron of the O.E.S. Hazel Chapter #390 in Crete, IL, Moose Lodge in Crawfordsville, IN. He was also a member and deacon at Centennial Community Church near Kingman. He was an avid bowler and had obtained the perfect “300” game. Memorial service will be 10:00 Am Friday July 3, 2009 at Centennial Community Church near Kingman with Pastor Bob Cruea officiating.
