Gary Lee Lightle Sr.

Gary Lee Lightle Sr. 81, of Veedersburg, passed away 2:40 PM Wednesday December 14, 2016 at St Vincent Williamsport Hospital. Gary was born September 15, 1935 in Danville, Illinois the son of Clyde and Lois (Bruner) Lightle. He married Betty J. Bridges September 3, 1966 in Veedersburg; she has preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Colleen Lightle, and a daughter in law Theresa Lightle. Surviving family include a son, Gary L. Lightle Jr., Rockville; two daughters, Kelley (Gary) Peacock, Albuquerque, NM; Marcia (Dan) Yochum, Bicknell IN; a sister Mary Lou (Jim) Wood, Veedersburg Gary graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1953. He was employed as a Brick Mason for many years at Local Union #4, retiring from there in 1985. Memorial service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday December 21, 2016 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Visitation will begin at 1:30 PM Wednesday and continue until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the donor’s choice.
