Theodore G Hankins

Theodore G. “Ted” Hankins, 59, of Veedersburg, passed away 9:48 AM Thursday December 15, 2016 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis Indiana Ted was born March 16, 1957 in Crawfordsville, IN the son of Wayne and Mary M. (Clark) Hankins. He married Barbara J. Whalen December 24, 1982 in Williamsport IN. Surviving family include his wife, Barbara J. Hankins, Veedersburg; two step-sons, Mike Risner, Crawfordsville; Tony Risner, Veedersburg. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wayne Hankins Jr., and a step-brother Wallace Pickett. Ted graduated from Fountain Central High School, and had been employed at Master Guard in Veedersburg as a fork truck operator. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday December 20, 2016 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Tuesday and continue until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
