Hazel Arlene Clift, 80, of Attica, passed away 3:53 AM Thursday April 6, 2017 at St Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.
She was born October 25, 1936 in Collison, IL the daughter of Lankford A. and Mildred M. (Dailey) Ingalsbe.
Surviving family include two sons, Randy (Jana) Clift, GA; Dan (Erin) Clift, Algoa TX; a daughter, Janice (Forest) Tague, Attica IN; three sisters, Dorothy (Jim) Mitton, Waynetown IN; Edith Herron, TN; Jo Ann Herron, Crawfordsville IN; a brother, Gerald (Darlene) Ingalsbe, Pittsburg PA; fifteen grandchildren, Andrea (Joe) Ragsdale, Andy (Katie) Hardy, Alise (Luke) Dillow, Jennifer Clift, Alexander Clift, Nicholas Clift, Evan Clift, Emily Wyhs, Kyla Long, Samuel Long, Daniella Clift, Elijah Clift, Xavier Clift, Kristin Tague, Kaitlyn Tague; four great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Ragsdale, Rorie Ragsdale, Landon Hardy, and Lauren Hardy.
She is preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra K. Hardy; a brother, Arthur Van Ingalsbe; and an infant sister, Martha Ingalsbe.
Hazel graduated from Richland Township High School in 1954. She was a member of the Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg. She enjoyed sewing, attending KIT Club, attending her grandchildren’s activities, going on walks, and traveling with her special friend Jo Ellen Ragsdale.
Through the years she had been employed at the Ben Franklin Store both in Covington and Veedersburg, she managed the Dollar Store in downtown Veedersburg; and more recently she was employed at Ferguson Lumber in Veedersburg.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Sunday April 9, 2017 at Sterling Christian Church 701 South Sterling Avenue Veedersburg IN, with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday April 8, 2017 at Sterling Christian Church. Burial will follow service at Mt Hope Cemetery in Covington.
