Reatha McClure

Reatha McClure, 85, of Veedersburg, passed away 8:03 PM Wednesday April 12, 2017 at St Vincent Hospital in Williamsport, Indiana. She was born August 9, 1931 in Mellott Indiana the daughter of Claude Earl and Sylvia (Martin) Cox. Surviving family include one son, Robert McClure, Tennessee; six daughters, Marilyn Harvey, Veedersburg; Linda (James) Lowry, Stone Bluff; Sylvia Merrill, Veedersburg; Karen McClure, Crawfordsville; Sharon McClure, Crawfordsville; Sandy (Al) Musser, Stone Bluff; two sisters, Rae Ann Morgan, Veedersburg; Ronna Lea (Odell) Sandlin, Mellott; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by nine brothers, Garold, Emerson, Don, Wesley, Jack, Bill, Verne, Darwin, and Verlin Cox; and four sisters, Ruby Derringer, Rosena Grimes, Reba Pickett, and Beverly English. Prior to her retirement Reatha had worked for many years at Med-Line and Steel-Grip. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday April 19, 2017 at Cold Spring Cemetery near Veedersburg, with Pastor Tim Lyons officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg.
