Timothy E. Daniels, 55, of Covington, died 3:45 am Tuesday April 20, 2010 at his mother’s residence following a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born February 12, 1955 in Danville, Illinois the son of Ted “Eddy” Daniels and Wanda (Ping). He was married to Debbie Crowder and they later divorced. His father has preceded him in death along with his grandparents Maxine and Carl Toby.
Surviving family includes his mother, Wanda Hayden (husband Walter), Covington; two sons, Thaddeus “TJ” (wife, Danielle) Daniels, and Dustin Travis (wife Michelle) Daniels, both of Covington; half-sister Kim Daniels, FL; step-brothers, Mike Hayden, Terre Haute; and Greg (Sharon) Hayden, Westville, IL; step-sister, Susan (Eli) Williams, Westville, IL, four grandchildren, Dustin Daniels, Cody Daniels, Faith Daniels, and Harlee Daniels, plus one due in July, Hunter Daniels. He also leaves behind a very close friend Jerry Beckley.
Timothy graduated from Covington High School in 1973. He had been employed as an equipment operator at TeePak in Danville. He was a member of the F. & A.M. Lodge #60, Western Indiana Shrine Club, and Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute. He had been a soccer coach in Covington for many years and was a Soccer Official throughout the state of Indiana. He was also an avid deer hunter.
Graveside memorial service and inurnment will be 11:00 AM Saturday April 24, 2010 at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington with Pastor Mark McMinn officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Dickerson Funeral Home.
