Linda Mae Houser

Linda Mae Houser, 54, passed away 5:20 pm Thursday April 22, 2010 at her residence in Waynetown, IN following a battle with cancer this previous year. She was born December 27, 1955 in Danville, IL the daughter of Robert and Sylvia (Douglas) Houser. Surviving family include a son, Greg (Robyn) Hershberger, Wilmington, NC; daughter, Megan (Tim) Keeling, Louisburg, NC; sisters, Cathy (Andy) Shepherd, Coeburn, VA and Peggy Houser, Covington, IN; three grandchildren, Luke Hershberger, Colin Hershberger, and Emily Keeling. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Diana Houser; and grandson, Caleb Hershberger. Linda was a self-employed Massage Therapist recently working at Kathy’s Golden Scissors in Veedersburg. Linda’s life was marked by her desire to give and care for others. This was evident by the love she had for her church and church family. She also loved the time she had to spend with her grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday April 27, 2010 at New Hope Christian Church 2746 US 231 Crawfordsville, IN 47933 with Pastor Rob Brown officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 – 8:00 pm Monday April 26, 2010 at New Hope Christian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
