Linda L. Bullock

Linda Lou (Bayler) Bullock, age 70 of Danville, IL died at 3:26 p.m. CST on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Vermilion Manor. Linda was born in Fisher, IL on January 31, 1940. She was the daughter of Buck and Louise (Taroff) Bayler. She was a 1958 graduate of Fisher High School. She was a lifelong resident of Danville. She married Kenneth Fairchild in 1959 in Fisher and later married Floyd “Curt” Bullock on August 6, 1979. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2008. Linda was a housewife, which was a full time job in itself. She loved golfing, playing cards, especially poker, planting flowers, mushroom hunting, and cooking. She especially loved her children. Surviving are, Her mother, Lou Bayler of Gifford, IL 3 children, Tim (Julie) Fairchild of Westville, IN, and Tracy (Cindy) Fairchild of Oakwood, IL, Tod Fairchild of Danville, IL. Brothers and sisters, James(Delores“Pat) Harper and Darrell “Bub” (Joann) Bayler both of Fisher, IL, Jerry “Frog” Bayler of Rantoul, IL, Carol Hennigh of Paxton, IL and Lyle “Oscar” (Tonya) Bayler of Fisher, IL Stepchildren, Sherry (Lon) Slider of Covington, IN, Randy (Mindy) Bullock of Killen, AL, Joanne (Rod) Hendrix of Mesa, AZ, Don (Cheryl) Bullock and David (Ellen) Bullock both of Champaign, IL 8 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way Linda was preceded in death by father, Buck Bayler, husband, Curt, brother-in-law, Harlan Hennigh. Visitation will be at Calvary Baptist Church in Danville, IL on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. CST until service time at 4:00 p.m. CST. Pastor Curt Darling will be officiating.
