Carmelita A. “Cami” (Hinote) Anders, 65, of Danville, IL passed away 1:07 pm September 9, 2010 at her residence following a battle with cancer. She was born October 30, 1944 in Veedersburg, IN. the daughter of Edward T. and Gwendolyn M. (McCown) Hinote. Surviving family includes a daughter, Antwaynette “Angie” Hinote, Danville, IL; son, Wendall Scott (Sherrie) VanNote, Veedersburg; three brothers, Larry Hinote, Coatsville, IN; Steve (Tammy) Hinote, Veedersburg; Timothy (Tamara) Hinote, Danville,IL; two sisters Sid (Jake) Wells, Essex, IL; Dee Hinote, Danville, IL; two grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Paul Edward Sever II, three brothers, Edward Hinote Jr., Tom Hinote, George Hinote, and a sister Betty Jill Hinote. Cami was a member of the Rock Church in Danville. She loved the outdoors, which included hiking and working in her flower and vegetable gardens. She enjoyed canning from her garden and sharing the canned goods with her family. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, and she loved to go shopping. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm (EST) Monday September 13, 2010 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Randy Downing officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 (EST) and continue until time of service on Monday. Interment at Oakland Cemetery in Montezuma, Indiana.
