Carolyn Janette Rager

Carolyn Janette "Jan" Newnum  Rager, age 80, of Cadiz, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville. Born January 30, 1940, in Fountain County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Glen Newnum and Agnes Aikman Newnum. Jan was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and traveling with her husband, Bill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Leonard

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bill Rager of Cadiz; a son, Curtis Gene (Erin) Rager; a daughter, Tammy Lou Fourt, both of Modesto, Calif.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM (EST) Sunday January 3, 2021 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg, Indiana. Burial will follow at Centennial Cemetery near Kingman, Indiana
