Duane Lee Keller, 74, of Kingman, passed away at his residence at 1:50 AM Monday July 29, 2019.
Duane was born January 3, 1945 in Crawfordsville, IN the son of Dwight E. and Wahneta O. “Blondie” (Allen) Keller. He married Martha Ellen Lowe May 29, 1968 and they were blessed with a daughter, Michelle.
Surviving family include a daughter, Michelle (David) Collum, Kingman; a brother Gordon L. Keller, Alabama; three granddaughters, Leeana (Justin) Townsend, Lauren (Logan) Starkey, Tricia (Shawn) Peterson; a great-grandson, Jensen Townsend; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judy McCrory; and a great-grandson, Jameson Townsend.
Duane graduated from Fountain Central High School, and for many years he was employed as a truck driver. He was known by some to have a stubborn streak. He enjoyed traveling; and he enjoyed fishing, both locally and wherever his travels may have taken him. More than anything he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Thursday August 1, 2019 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg officiated by Pastor Daneen Rodriguez. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service at 7:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to Riley’s Children Hospital.
