Jerry L Edwards

Jerry Lee Edwards, 61, of Veedersburg IN, passed away at his residence 8:17 AM Wednesday May 24, 2023.

Jerry was born August 1, 1961 in Danville, IL the son of Sidney and Georgia Edwards. He married Candi L. (Lambert) January 15, 2021 in Oakwood, IL.

Surviving family include his wife Candi L Edwards, Veedersburg; his father, Sidney Edwards, Catlin, IL; sons & daughters, Ashley (Nathan) Short, Kokomo IN; Becca (Garrett) Brown, Carmel IN; Nate (Cassie) Davis, West Lafayette IN; Josh (Jordan) Edwards, Lafayette IN; Tiffany Edwards, Lafayette IN; Georgia (Matt) Wooten, Lafayette IN; Hannah Snider, Veedersburg IN; Caleb Snider, Hillsboro IN; Isaac Snider, Veedersburg IN; a sister, Cindi (Todd) Edwards Scott, Catlin IL; and eight grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, and a brother Jeff Edwards.

Jerry served his country in the United States Air Force after graduating high school. He had been employed as a jet airplane mechanic in Texas; and most recently he was employed as shop foreman at Fountain County Highway Garage.  He was a member of the Fairview Sportsman Club in Oakwood IL.  He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley around the Indiana / Illinois area.
