Marjorie Ann Clark

Marjorie Ann Clark, 94, formerly of Veedersburg, IN; passed away 5:12 PM March 23, 2023 at The Summit Retirement Home in Hockessin, Delaware.

Mrs. Clark was born February 23, 1929 in Veedersburg, IN; the daughter of William F. and Elizabeth H. (Cline) Knowles. She married Benny Robert Clark December 7, 1948 at Boswell Christian Church; he has preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Albert Parker Knowles.

Surviving family include a daughter, Deborah Ann (Rene) Moreno, Concord, CA; a son William Virgil (Diane) Clark, Hockessin, DE; a sister, Lillie Louise Booe, formerly of Veedersburg, IN; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Moreno (Daniel) Rentuma, Michael Moreno, and Stephanie Clark; three great-grandchildren, Mateo, Angelo, and Isabella Rentuma; and many nieces and nephews.

Marjorie graduated from Veedersburg High School, and was a member of the Veedersburg United Methodist Church. She retired from the US Finance and Accounting Center at Fort Benjamin Harrison near Indianapolis, Indiana in February 1989. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and many other crafts.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday March 31, 2023 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg, IN with Pastor Robert E. Keck officiating. Visitation will begin 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow at Coal Creek Union Cemetery near Newtown, Indiana.
