Marjorie A Glover

Marjorie A Glover,94, passed away at Traditions Assisted Living in Avon IN Wednesday Feb 3 2021. She was born on January 3, 1927, in Danville, IL the daughter of Ora & Dorothy (Taylor)VanPelt.  

She was united in marriage to Harlan Glover on June 9, 1945, who preceded her in death 11/6/1999. 

She was a strong farm mother who loved her family and was proud of her many children and grandchildren who were valedictorians and salutatorians of their classes. 

Survived by son Stephen Glover, daughters Carol (Wil) Schulz, Joyce (Robert) Watt, Bonnie (Michael) Mayfield & Amy (Deborah Sutphin) Glover & several grandchildren and step-grandchildren and great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren. She was also survived by her brother, Donald L. VanPelt. 

Marjorie graduated from Covington HS class of 1944, and she was the youngest because of skipping a grade. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Fountain Trust Company for over 35 years. She was a member of TriKappa, Fountain County Homemakers, HubNuts Camping Club and several Euchre Clubs. 

She was an avid and lucky card player, and everyone wanted to be her partner. 

She was a member of Osborn Prairie Christian Church. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday February 8, 2021, at Dickerson Funeral Home 303 N Main St. Veedersburg, IN 47987 with Don Hesler officiating. Burial will follow at Osborn Prairie Cemetery near Veedersburg.
