Megan Elizabeth Johnson, 25, passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2023.
Megan was born in Lafayette, IN on September 19, 1997. She attended Fountain Central schools, graduating in 2016; where she participated in cross country, track & field, and swimming. She went on to obtain her cosmetology license from Christina & Company Education Center in Lafayette. She had worked at various salons throughout central Indiana and most recently had been employed at the 317 Zoo in Indianapolis.
Megan was known for her sense of flair. She had multiple tattoos and always stated that each one was like a permanent souvenir of things/events that were important to her. She enjoyed bargain shopping, dancing, running, biking, and spending time with Rachel. All who knew her will miss her wonderful smile and her ability to make a conversation about anything.
Megan is survived by her parents, David Johnson (Robin Curry) of Veedersburg and Vikki (Tom) Glenn of Louisville, KY; her sister and best friend, Rachel (Braxton) Haas, Plainfield IN; a new nephew Bennett Haas; paternal grandmother, Nancy Johnson, Veedersburg; maternal grandfather, Lloyd (Lynn) Brown, Veedersburg; an uncle Brad & Rae-Jean Johnson, Carmel; cousins Jack and Kylee Johnson. She was a wonderful mother to her three cat children, Pam, Creed, and Erin.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Sharon and Denny Manning, paternal grandfather Tom Johnson, and uncle David Brown.
Visitation is 4:00 – 8:00 PM Monday June 5, 2023 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg IN. Funeral is 11:00 AM Tuesday June 6, 2023 at Dickerson Funeral Home. Burial is at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg. Memorial contributions may be given to Fountain Central Cross Country. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
