Michael Allen Brown

Michael Allen “Mikey” Brown, 21, of Veedersburg, passed away Tuesday July 21, 2020.

Mikey was born February 26, 1999 in Chicago, IL the son of Chad Allen and Brandy Lynn (Brown) Turpin.

Surviving family include his parents, Chad & Brandy Turpin, Veedersburg; two brothers, Xavier Turpin & Skylar Turpin; a sister, Kierstin Turpin, all of Veedersburg; two grandmas, Gail Violet, Hillsboro; Barbara Turpin, Kingman; three uncles, Jake (Jessica) Violet, Byron IL; Charlie Brown, Sycamore IL; Matthew Brown, Veedersburg; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents Richard & Kathryn Bee, and a great-uncle Tom Bee.

Mikey graduated from Fountain Central High School in 2017 where he was active in many sports, including baseball, basketball, and football. He will be remembered by many as a very smart and outgoing young man. He loved being outdoors camping and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends; and he enjoyed traveling with his grandma Gail.

Funeral service will be 7:00 PM Friday July 24, 2020 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Alan Milewski officiating.
