Ovetta Pauline Lindquist, 97, of Veedersburg, passed away 1:00 PM Wednesday May 4, 2022 at Union Hospital in Clinton, Indiana.
Pauline was born July 10, 1924 in Williamsport, IN the daughter of the late Roy and Naomi Elizabeth (Laird) Crumley. She married Charles G. Lindquist October 4, 1941 in Crawfordsville, IN. He preceded her in death March 3, 1983.
She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Crumley, Maxine Clark; three brothers Roy Crumley, Leland Crumley, Marion Crumley; an infant brother Vernal Crumley; and a granddaughter, Tammy Shaw.
Surviving family incude a son, William R. (Carolyn) Lindquist, Marshall IN; a sister Loretta Reed, Arkansas; two grandsons, Ronnie (Crissy) Lindquist, Crawfordsville; Charles E (Gennifer) Lindquist, Rockville; eight great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Pauline was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Covington, IN. She had been employed as a cook both at the Fountain County Jail, and The Covington Senior Center.
She enjoyed attending church and being involved in the ministry there. She loved to help people in their time of need, and more than anything she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday May 7, 2022 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Rich Stadler officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Saturday and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at Mt Hope Cemetery in Covington. Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com
