Patricia Ann Lewis

Patricia Ann Lewis, 79, passed away at 2:53 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital with her family by her side.

 Patricia (Patty) was born August 16, 1942, in Veedersburg, IN the daughter of Kenneth and Alberta (Sigler) Krout. She married Ed Beasley on October 13, 1961; they were later divorced. She married Marvin Lewis on June 11, 1983.

Surviving family include two daughters, Kay (Steve) Harper, Lecanto, FL; Diane (Bill) Ingalsbe, Veedersburg, IN; a son, Patrick (Jenny) Beasley, Veedersburg, IN; a step-daughter, Mitzi (Joe) Barnes, Covington, IN; two brothers, Bob (Jeannie) Richey, Hillsboro, IN; and Don (Debbie) Richey, Veedersburg, IN.

She is survived by nine grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Lewandowski, Sean (Tiffany) Alexander, Adam Barnes, Kayla Beasley, Creston (Micah) Beasley, Bailee Harper, Faith Barnes, Brandon Ingalsbe, and Ashlynn (Bradley) Howell. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, River Holt, Quinn Lewandowski, Holden Lewandowski, Jacob Beasley, Asa Lewandowski, and Joseph Beasley.

 She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Alberta, her husband, Marvin, her brother Kenny Krout, and her sister, Sharon Allen.

Patty graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1960. She was a cheerleader for the Green Devils all throughout high school. Patty worked in the cafeteria at Fountain Central High School for 34 years until her retirement in 2008.

Patty attended Sterling Christian Church and enjoyed helping with coffee for Sunday morning services and cooking meals for KIT Club. She loved taking care of her yard, growing flowers, reading, watching game shows & the Hallmark Channel, and cooking Sunday dinner every week for her family.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022 at Sterling Christian Church, 701 South Sterling Avenue, Veedersburg, IN. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Sterling Christian Church with Pastor Gary Johnson and Pastor Derek Jackson officiating.
