Richard Lee Clarkston

Richard Lee Clarkston, 70, of Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday September 11, 2019 at Franciscan St Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.

Richard was born January 14, 1949 in Gary, Indiana the son of John and Anna Bell Clarkston. He married Maria Teresa Caceres March 21, 1997 in Covington, Indiana. On his free time, Richard enjoyed fishing, telling jokes, working on his vehicles and spending time with his family. 

Surviving family include his wife Maria Clarkston, Crawfordsville; two sons, Robert Clarkston, Crawfordsville; Richard (Chillie) Clarkston Jr., Savannah GA; ; three daughters, Sandra Lee (Mike) Shaw, Westville, IL; Toni Lee (Jason) Watson, Catlin, IL; Heidy Caceres, Terre Haute IN; four sisters, Bonnie Whitford (Bill), Glenda Uplinger (Caroll), Nancy Cross (Barry), Debbi Axtell (Craig Perry); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Bell Clarkston; and a brother, Ronald Clarkston.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday September 16, 2019 at the Church of God 702 West 2^nd Street, Veedersburg IN with Pastor Virgil Moss officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon Monday at the church and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at Cold Spring Cemetery near Veedersburg.
