Tina Lynn Auter

Tina Lynn Auter, 58, of Veedersburg, IN; passed away 5:59 AM Tuesday June 27, 2023 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She won the final battle while on earth and will be spending eternity in Heaven with her Lord and Savior and many other loved ones.

Tina was born February 11, 1965 in Clinton, IN; the daughter of Tom J. Hinote and Myretta (Cox) Garrigus. She was previously married to her high school sweetheart Tye R. Auter, and they were blessed with two daughters Brittany and Amber.

Surviving family include her two daughters, Brittany Lee Auter, Veedersburg; Amber (Michael) Brewster, Covington; her mother, Myretta Garrigus, Veedersburg; a brother Doug Hinote, Veedersburg; two sisters, Cyndi (Sohn) Bowling, Kingman; Marcie (Ty) Bowling, Covington.

She is preceded in death by her father Tom J Hinote; a brother-in-law, Sohn Bowling; and a niece, Kayla Amos.

Tina graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1983. She was employed as an Auditor at Closure System INC in Crawfordsville for 6 years. She was a member of Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg.

Tina enjoyed traveling around the country with her two daughters; she absolutely loved the Christmas holiday season especially the snowflakes in downtown Veedersburg and she enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family members.

Visitation is 5:00 – 8:00 PM Friday June 30, 2023 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Funeral is 11:00 AM Saturday July 1, 2023 at the funeral home.
