Trixie A Carter

Trixie A. Carter, 60, of rural Veedersburg, passed away at her residence Sunday evening January 19, 2020.

Trixie was born May 22, 1959 in Crawfordsville IN the daughter of Billy M. and Joyce D. (Barton) Birge.

She is preceded in death by her father; a grandson, Alexander Birge, and her pet dog, Shy. 

Surviving family include her mother, Joyce Birge, Veedersburg; a son, Shane (Jessica) Birge, Veedersburg; a brother, William (Cheryl) Birge, Kingman; three grandchildren, Pamela Ann Birge, Jasmine Alane Birge, William Michael Birge.

Trixie graduated from Fountain Central High School in 1977. She had been employed at RR Donnelley in Crawfordsville. She enjoyed raising and riding quarter horses, and through the years she had helped Bobby Shoap and Medley Farms with their horses. She was also involved with the Horse and Pony Club at Fountain County 4-H Fair.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday January 24, 2020 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Dave Sims officiating. Visitation will begin 12:00 noon Friday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.  Online condolences at www.dickersonfuneralhome.com In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to help with funeral expense.
