Wilma Marie Richey

Wilma Marie Richey, 90, of Veedersburg, passed away at the Waters of Covington 9:50 PM Friday December 18, 2020.

Wilma was born July 20, 1930 in Covington, Indiana the daughter of Herschel N. and Audrey V. (Minnick) Wall. She married Melvin Richey August 9, 1946 in Veedersburg, IN; he preceded her in death February 18, 2001.

Surviving family include a daughter, Linda (Steve) Steed, Plaifield IN; three sons, Dennis (Rhonda) Richey, Logansport, IN; Gary (Patty) Richey, Brooksville FL; Jeff (Barbara) Richey, Wingate IN; three sisters, Ordella Prince, Veedersburg IN; Stella (Paul) Doss, Veedersburg IN; Delores (Steve) Livengood, IL; two brothers,  James Richard (Linda) Lowry, Stone Bluff IN; Fred (Diane) Lowry, Shelbyville IN; twelve grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Penny Richey, and a daughter-in-law Reva Richey.

Wilma had attended the EUB church in Veedersburg, and the Stone Bluff Community church. She had enjoyed traveling with her husband; and more than anything she loved and enjoyed her family.

Funeral service will be 12:30 PM (EST) Tuesday December 22, 2020 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Steve Livengood officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:30 (EST) Tuesday at the funeral home and continue until the time of service. Burial will be at VA National Cemetery in Danville, IL.
